Danny's is the perfect place to stop for some good food. Some locations are open 24 hours which is very convenient for when we want something to eat late at night. Great prices make eating with the entire family very affordable and budget friendly.

I've eaten at Danny's Restaurants in Laredo, Texas and the best one is located at 4320 McPherson Ave. excellent service, the best waiters & Waiteresses and good portions of food. Now I live in Alice, Texas and I have too agree with Cindy Silva's comment their service stinks. The other day my daughter and I eat there and we were acknowledge by the waiters and waiteress and escorted by a waiter to a table. By the way the young man did not introduced and asked what beverages we were ordering. We had ordered the Guisada Plate and it was horrible the rice was too dry and the beans had a funny taste. And also no waiters or waiteresses ever checked to see if we need more refills of tea to which I had finished my first serving of tea after finishing what I could. I have a suggestion I think these waiters and waiteresses need training maybe send them for a week or two to some of locations in Laredo. It's like Ms. Silva said these people can make you or break you if properly trained and you'll see a go turn out on customer satisfication.

Fui a comer al Danny's # 5 y les queria comentar que la comida y servico fueron de maravilla. Tambien me gusto mucho el mariachi que toco el sabado. Tocan y cantan muy bonito y le da el toque Mexicano al restaurante. Mi unico comentario sobre los mariachis es de que deberian tocar mas tiempo. Nadamas nos dejan bien emocionados porque tocan muy poco tiempo.

When you first opened Danny's in Alice, my family and I were very excited because we loved eating at the ones in Laredo. We are very good customers, but recently we have been very disappointed with the service we are receiving. I can certainly overlook an isolated incident, but this is happening more frequently. I am seriously considering not returning to the restaurant again, at least not any time soon. This is very important and could either make or break your business. We have seen several restaurants here open for business only to fail after a few months. The new waitresses that are now working there is what needs serious improvement. This is not intended to get or make trouble for anyone in particular, but to let you know what makes the customer return to your place business or not.

We are located in the Valley.... Harlingen TX, we were drving by Alice TX, and stoped at Dannys to have lunch. I had a great experince with not only the waiter, but the supervisor in charge. The food was great and the the service was excellent... the only thing is that the prices were toooooooooooo high. Dannys should be considered a local hometown resturant, with low and affordable prices. Not only for new customers, but for returing customers. If prcies go down i would recommend this resturant to my friends and family.

Soy una perosona k siempre frecuento este lugar por su comida y servicio, pero hoy en dia el servicio de mi mesera estubo bien pero el servicio del Gerante Toscano estuvo muy pesiomo. Porque? Acudi con toda mi familia a comer lo cual eramos mas de 8 prsonas, y en uno de los platillos de cuaresma en un trozo de filete empanizado me salio un pedazo de metal k parecia una grapa. Estuve a punto de comermelo pero senti algo muy duro al masticar lo cual al final me di cuenta k era un metal en mi boca k estaba en el pescado k estaba comiendo. Me levante de mi asiento y lo reporte con una de las meseras, y lo unico que hizo fue tomar el metal y tirarlo a la basura. El gerante nunca se acerco a la mesa para disculparse o para tratar de arreglar el asunto. Termine pagando mas de $80 dllr por una comida k no estaba bien y que no te la pudes comer ni agusto porque nunca sabes las sorpresas k van a salir. Como les comentaba yo acudo a este lugar regularmente 2 veces por semana con toda mi familia lo cual espero buen servicio y buena comida. pOR FAVOR DE COMUNICARSE AL 830-968-2195 SI TIENEN ALGUAN PREGUNTA O DUDA. gRACIAS.

Visite el dannys el Sabado 23 de feb y quiero comentarles que el mariachi que tuvieron estuvo estupendo me gustaria verlo mas seguido. Hable para el dannys y comentaron que no lo van a tener que lastima por que tocan muy bonito y le dan el toque especial que necesita el dannys con toy su cabrito. Es lo unico que le falta para eliminar y olvidar EL RANCHO SU MAJESTAD EL TACO.

Quisiera felicitar al Sr. Lopez y su personal por el gran exito y por haber convertido el restaurant Danny's en un lugar tan elegante. Felicidades a todos los que laboran alli. Excellente comida, y attenciones. Que buen cabrito. Un pequeno detalle. He sido cliente de uds por mucho tiempo, nunca he tenido ninguna queja. En este lugarr tan diferente lo unico es que la senora mayor (que casi no canta) parece que esta enojada o disgustada con su trabajo. No es como el maestro del organo o la ortra senora. Esta senora que comento tiene muy bonita voz, pero canta muy poco y mata el ambiente con su expression. parece que nunca anda de humor. y como que le molesta cuando uno pide una cancion. Hablen con ella es un lugar muy bonito can un gran ambiente. no dejen que la actitud de ella lo heche a perder. muchas gracias una vez mas al sr lopez y su personal. felicidades

As a family and we go to eat at danny's every week. there has been times where we use to eat 4 times out of the week there. We have always talked about the great service they have like chilis rest. too. but a month ago that we went like always we had order what we have been ordering before on sundays or a week before we were 40 people and we ordered this botanna. suddenly we order the botanna again there was different manager i dont know but we had not seen him before. when suddenly he comes and says sorry we have never had that in this restaurant you can go and complaint but in a rude way. then also the plates for breakfast came out incomplete. There was only one employee who said sorry for everything that was happening. we had always been there and the managers and everybody was great. i know that day maybe they all had the day off because it was a holiday but it was very dissapointing.

There serious service-related problems and issues at the Alice restaurant. The workers and managers need to more and/or better training and given more flexibility on policies by their superiors to satisfy customer needs and requests.Have heard many complaints about quality of service and attitudes there.

i have gone to danny several times because i really enjoy the delicious food that you have another reason that i go to danny is because i have two faverite waitresses that i love for them to wait on me everytime that i go if i am not mistaken i think their names are... one is joann she is very polite and kind and the other one is small skinny girl name norma i recieve the best service from them two each and everytime that i go. please give them a great compliment from my behalf. overall i really look foward to eating there.

Quisiera felicitarlos por sus sistema de trabajo en sus restaurantes, es demasiado el personal que tienen en cada restaurant que creo es imposible que algun cliente no quede satisfecho con el servicio, a los dannys que he visitado, es tan rapida la atencion, y tan amables los empleados que la verdad no entiendo el porque de las quejas de las personas. Siento que como estan acostumbrados al mismo servicio siempre, por cualquier detalle sienten que son mal atendidos, pero al contrario es mejor decirles y hacerles saber que son los restaurantes con buen servicio. Una felicitacion a los directivos de Dannys o al Dueno o la persona que fue la de la idea del tipo de servicio que se da en Dannys. Por otro lado porfavor no se les ocurra quitar las enchiladas poblanas de los Lunch Specials porfavor, son deliciosas, muchas gracias Dannys. Saludos Francisco Solis

Mi comentario es para el Dannys de Alice Tx, yo tengo comiendo en este restaurant desde que se abrio, y nunca se ha mejorado, cuando abrio estaba muy bien, ahorita no tiene ni la mitad de servicio que tenia antes, tuve un detalle esta fin de semana en este restaurant y pedi hablar con el gerente y nunca se aparecio. No se quien es el gerente pero solo lo he visto, y no es de aqui de Alice, porfavor tengan mas cuidado con sus empleados y mas con sus gerentes porque solo estan en la oficinaa y no atienden a los clientes, solo me mando a la hostes que nada tiene que ver. Porfavor tengan mas cuidado con el servicio, porque eso los puede llevar a la quiebra.

I really enjoy your tlapeno caldo and I hope you really consider stopping the delivery of food in the cart.....it makes the food arrive cold, especially the breakfast. Or use covers for the food when delivering.

A Great Place To Eat! I like the 1/2 & 1/2 tea, and the fajita plate. I've been eating at Danny's for about four years now and alwas have recieved great service. I deal with all the locations, Alice, Brownsville, Laredo and I'm looking forward to visting the location in Eagle Pass. I hope to see more Danny's locations State wide, San Antonio could use severial locations that way the people could enjoy great food & Service!

solo les queria comentar que me gusta la comida del dannys, es muy rica y el servicio es bueno con unas meseras y con ontras es pesimo. Unas meseras si se preocupan por el cliente y otras ni siquiera sonrien. Lo que si eh notado es que hay una mesera en la noche que tiene una forma de hablar muy bulgar al hablar y lo hace enfrente de las personas presentes lo cual es muy irespetuoso. El gerente muchas veces la ah escuchado y no le llama la atencion solo camina para la cocina y desaparece. Yo pienso que la gerencia de hoy en dia no es tan buena, el gerente no es amigable ya que siempre anda con una cara de pocos amigos(si asi podemos decir). Les convendria muy bien que volvieran a cambiar de gerente porque se nota que no tiene ni idea de lo que esta haciendo. La verdad es que antes la gerencia estaba mucho mejor, mas ambiente amigable y pasivo. Y aserca de la muchachita en la noche que da muy mal aspecto. Espero y puedan hacer algo al respecto de lo contrario ya no visitare dannys, lastima de la comida tan deliciosa que sirven. Gracias por su tiempo.

i go to al of dannys when in laredo, i recently visited th eone in alice, texas and it was the same flavor, i would also like to add that i met danny when he was a cook at juleps. i highly recomend dannys food ecpecially the mollejitas, no one makes them like dannys.

I am a fellow Laredoan living in Eagle Pass. I have always enjoyed the food in the Danny's Restaurant in Laredo, but I do not enjoy the restaurant in Eagle Pass. The service is terrible. When they first opened they promised that we would get the same great service we would get in Laredo, but we don't. Waitresses never return to our table to ask us if we need anything nor to refill our drinks. The food has declined since they opened. If the owners do not do anything about fixing their service, the restaurant will not last much longer. Alot of people I know have nothing nice to say about this restaurant.

We have never been to a Danny's to eat before. They just opened one up in Alice texas and me and my husband and the baby decide to go. Service was not good at all, never was asked if we would like a refill on our tea. We placed 3 orders, mine and my husband, and a kids Meal. they bought mine and my husband but never the baby order. we waited and waited and i keep trying to call someone over to help me so i could ask where her meal was. Now if they had came over to see if we need a refill on tea i woudld have been able to tell them we never got the other meal. Finally a lady walked by and my husband said look we order a child;s meal and we are almost frinshed with our meal and still waiting on her meal. They never placed the meal for our little one. now why would we go in there and order food for us and not our 2 year old. by the time they bought her food we were done and she was full from eatting ours. gave us a 30.00 ticket and that was it. never once said they were sorry are anything. my husband was upset and said Lets Go. I tried to tell them at the front. but all they said was Oh sorry to here that. and that was it. We were not happy at all with the place overall.

Great service when we go. My family and I enjoy the food at all the Danny's Restaurant. Although, there should be more vegetables in each meals. Thank you for the good service and food.

Toda nuestra Familia que radica en Mexico y en Texas,desde 1987 que desde ese entonces hemos sido clientes de DANNYS restaurant,no nos perdemos la oportunidad de disfrutar una gran comida cada vez que pasamos por Laredo Tx.y quiero decirles que hasta la fecha sigo pidiendo mi platillo favorito´, LA TAMPIQUEÑA . Felicitaciones a los cocineros , y a la gente que está atrás haciendo posible que todos nosotros disfrutemos de todo ese gran menú lleno de sabor .

HI!!! I JUST WANTED TO LET U KNOW THAT MY FAMILY AND I ALWAYS GO TO DANNY #8 AND THE MANAGER U HAD WAS VERY DISRESPECTFULL HIS NAME WAS ANGEL ZUNIGA I BELIEVE THAT WAS HIS LAST NAME WE ORDERED A BOTANA PLATTER AND OMG WHEN I SAW IT I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT I WAS SEEING IT WAS NASTY IT WAS MISSING FOOD AND IT LOOKED TERRIBLE THE MEAT HAD A WEIRD TASTE THIS HAD NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. WHEN WE ORDERED ONE DAYS LATER THE OTHER MANAGER DANIEL WAS VERY NICE AND GAVE US THE BEST SERVICE THANKS TO HIM WE CONTINUE TO VISIT DANNYS WE ALL LOVE YOUR FOOD. AND FOR YOUR OTHER MANAGER HES THE WORST THING THAT HAPPENED TO DANNYS TALKING ABOUT US IN FRONT OF MY SISTER. SORRY TO LET U KNOW THAT NOT ONLY BECAUSE I USED TO WORK FOR MR. I think I speak for all the Laredoans who now live in Eagle Pass when I say that the Danny's in Eagle Pass is terrible. Not only is the food really bad...mostly microwaved, the service rude and very unprofessional. There is a cashier who was not only rude, but tried to charge me for food I had returned and did not attempt to apologize for their disgusting food or bad service. The managers wife attempted to explain that something was broken and that's why the food was microwaved while the manager sat on his butt the whole time talking to another man and waving his hand at the staff when the cd that was playing would skip. Don't be surprised if this Danny's doesn't last.

Por falta de comunicacion de nuestra parte, en la seccion reservada; a ustedes les fallamos. Nuestra Politica es ofrecer a ustedes, nuestros clientes, lo mejor en comida, servicio, calidad, consistencia y precio. No justificamos nuestra falla ni mucho menos la pasaremos por alto, de inmediato tomamos cartas en este asunto al momento de tomar su aviso y le agradecemos el tiempo que se tomo para hacernos llegar este aviso. el dia 02 de junio 2007, visitamos el restaurant de jacaman, siempre nos gustaba su atencion para con nosotros, pero excepto hoy, estoy demasiado decepcionada del servicio que nos dieron a mi y a mi familia, celebrabamos la graduacion de mi sobrina, de repente el manager, que no recuerdo su nombre, se acerco a decirnos que nos cambiaramos de mesas, estabamos ocupando 3 o 4 mesas eramos 16 personas, que nos movieramos de lugar, que porque habia otras personas esperando, que estaba reservado el lugar para cierta hora, eso nos hubiera dicho antes de ocupar el lugar, nos tuvimos que retirar del restaurant, dejando platos de comida sin terminar, claro muy molentos, pero por educacion nos retiramos, diciendo el manager que nos iba a dar un descuento, pero eso no era una disculpa ni era lo que queriamos, nosotros lo que queriamos era pasarla bien y resulto todo lo contratio, aparte soportar la burla de las personas que estaban en seguida de nosotros, que llegaron despues que eran a quienes deberian haber cambiado de lugar. nunca nos habia pasado algo similar, nos preguntamos que porque, si nosotros ibamos a pagar no nos iban a regalar nada, pero no vuelvo a pararme en ese lugar, mi esposo va a comer todos los dias al que esta en mines rd. y nunca le pasa eso, ustedes cren que esta correcto eso, quiero una respuesta. I REALLY ENJOY EATING DURING THERE MY LUNCH HOUR BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS ALWAYS FAST AND THE WAITRESSES THERE ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY, IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW BUSY THEY ARE. THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND ALSO THE FOOD AND ICED TEA ARE ALWAYS FRESH.
